First Ever Sleepover

The Tourists are finally together for the first time ever Tourist Sleepover. It was a wild experience, and loads of fun. We were up all night, and got like an hour or 2 of sleep. Too bad B ate some bad tacos and got a bad case of what we think was food poisoning. It was still fun nevertheless, and you get to see our fun experience.

New Concerts, New Covers

Sorry for taking so long to write another blog guys. I wanted to upload some videos to this place but i got kind of lazy. Lol. Well either ways, here are some recent concerts and covers from Tourist On A business Trip. They will keep increasing with every new concert or cover recorded, so keep checking back on this playlist.

New name... Same motive

So the band continued to play as a somewhat nameless band. Time and time passed, and finally, one of the band members (Bulmaro) came up with the name, Tourists On A Business Trip. The name is quite long yes, but there is a deep meaning behind it. You see, we as a whole, are not of this world, but from another kingdom. We come from the kingdom of God, and therefore we are only but mere tourists on this Earthly domain. However, although we are tourists on this world, we have been sent on a business, and that is to spread the message of our Lord and Savior. Therfore, we not have just become tourists, but we have become Tourists On a Buisness Trip, so we shall pack our bags, and go wherever our God tells us to go, because although we have now a new name, we still have the same motive, and that is to bring glory and honor to our God in heaven.

First Gig - The Penguins

As time progressed, this small group of 3 grew into what it has become today. However, when they started out, they had no idea what to call themselves. It hadn't occurred to them that they were an actual band now therefore no name was ever picked out. When it came time to play as a group for the first time, they knew that it would be a hassle to call each and every person out from the audience one by one. They needed a name fast! One of the band members overheard someone saying that they resembled somewhat of a penguin because of the white and black clothes that they were wearing. So that's what they decided to call themselves, The Penguins. The name was to be changed later, but for the time being, The Penguins would do.

Now this group of what is now 6, prepared themselves for their first performance.

Although it was very nerve racking, they had a blast and couldn't wait for the next time when they would perform again. For now however, they would go and enjoy the rest of their evening as The Penguins.

Humble Beginnings - The Trio

It all started out with a few guys with a desire to play songs that inspired people to worship God. They were determined to show the people not just a good time, but also a new and uplifting way to praise Him and give Him glory. Thus, from this desire, a group was formed.

The group wasn't very big, but it did have a big passion and that's what fueled it to become what it became. Although it was hard work, this small group of 3 people (with the exception of Oscar, thanks a lot to him) finally succeeded in pulling off something that they desired for the longest time and that was to play a song for the glory and honor of God in front of an audience.
